UP IN ARMS: Newport Beach pastor John A. Huffman Jr., above, isn’t mincing words when it comes to the Presbyterian church’s controversial new proposal on sexuality (B4). Huffman and his supporters worry that the proposal can be interpreted as condoning unmarried couples living together and gay relationships. Huffman, who is running for a top church post, says if proposal backers prevail, it “could change the very shape of our denomination.”
