TWO HATS: Patricia Gomez, above, works with CCAP, an Orange group providing “family life education” programs for children and parents. Now she’s about to add the job of helping the county Public Health Department with its new program targeting minority groups’ health problems. . . . She says one study shows that children from Mexico often get fat when they come here. They want to assimilate, and in the process eat a lot of junk food. Department director Dr. L. Rex Ehling says program workers “need cultural sensitivity and awareness” on the job.
