Glendora’s Water Use Up 3% in First 4 Months of Year

Share

Glendora has used 3% more water during the first four months of 1991 than in the same period in 1990, City Engineer Richard Cantwell told the City Council on Tuesday.

Cantwell said the city’s most productive wells may go dry before August because the Upper San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District has decided not to resupply the underground water table until November.

Councilman Marshall Mouw said that if the council decides to impose mandatory water conservation, a standard water-use allotment per household will be set instead of cuts based on prior usage.
