Pasadena : Cancer Event Raises $100,000

The Tournament for Life, sponsored by The Ralph M. Parsons Co. at Brookside Golf Club last week, has raised $100,000 for the American Cancer Society.

The event is the nation’s largest private golf tournament that helps support cancer research, according to a spokesman for Parsons, a Pasadena-based engineering and construction company. Since it began in 1976, the tournament has raised $743,000.
