Claremont Student Wins Ford Fellowship

Rose Orozco, a graduating senior at Claremont McKenna College, is one of 55 students nationwide to be accepted in the Ford Foundation Doctoral Fellowship Program for Minorities.
The program will pay her tuition for three years and provide a stipend for living expenses. Orozco will study for a doctorate in clinical psychology at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
The foundation program seeks to increase the number of minorities on the nation’s college faculties.
