MONGOLIA: The capital of Ulan Bator last week added meat to the list of staples being rationed due to chronic shortages, Chinese reports said. The municipal government announced that each person in the capital would be given ration coupons to buy 5.9 pounds of meat a month, according to China’s state-run Xinhua news agency.
