Olympic gold medalist Carl Lewis smelled of alcohol and failed a sobriety test after ramming his car into a curb Jan. 11, two Houston police officers testified. Lewis is charged with drunk driving and faces a maximum sentence of two years in jail and a $2,000 fine if convicted.
