Idaho Teen-Ager Wins National Geography Bee

WASHINGTON —
A 14-year-old Idaho boy won the 1991 National Geography Bee on Thursday, correctly answering the question: “What type of land form is commonly associated with orographic precipitation?” David Stillman of Nezperce, Ida., answered “mountain” to beat nine other finalists and win a $25,000 scholarship.
