DANA POINT : 16 Servicemen Honored by Council
Sixteen residents of Dana Point, all members of the armed forces, were recognized by the City Council this week for their service in the Gulf War.
Members of the Marine Corps and Marine Corps Reserve recognized were Cpl. Eric Alford, Capt. John D. Edwards, Lt. Andrew C. Lim, Lance Cpl. Stephen H. Long Jr., Warrant Officer James W. Maddox, Staff Sgt. David McDonald, Col. Tom Reath and Gunnery Sgt. John Wagner.
Members of the Navy were Gus Aleman Jr., Ens. Katherine E. Goode, Lt. Cyril Hill and Capt. Chris Papaj. Air Force Reserve members honored were Capt. Jay Bruhl, Douglas Middlebrook, and Col. James E. Mullen, M.D. Cpl. Robert Skopeck Jr., a member of the Army Reserve, was also recognized.
