All Bets Off in Sri Lanka

COLOMBO, Sri Lanka —
Police raided 10 casinos hours after the government announced it would close all betting houses, a senior government official said Friday.
Police seized gambling tables and equipment from the casinos under emergency laws normally used to combat terrorism, the official said.
