Lilly P. Sanathanan has joined the Institute for Biological Research and Development Inc. in Irvine as vice president of biostatistics and clinical data systems. She was formerly a director with the Food and Drug Administration’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research. Sanathanan has also been director of research statistics at Smith, Kline & French Laboratories, associate director of research statistics at Ciba-Geigy and senior statistician at Abbott Laboratories.
