Davidoff Sentenced: Michael Davidoff, Ivan F. Boesky’s former top trader, who had testified against junk bond king Michael Milken, was sentenced to five years of probation after pleading guilty to securities fraud. Davidoff, 47, was also fined $50,000 and ordered to perform 300 hours of community service. He had pleaded guilty to one count of securities fraud in January, 1987, and has been cooperating with the government by testifying against Milken and John Mulheren, a once-powerful speculator and former head of Jamie Securities.
