Alaska Water Pipeline

In response to your editorial “On No Account” (June 13):

It’s ironic that the people who are demanding water conservation in the Southland are spending money for individual expenses they (the Metropolitan Water District) could use to further water conservation guidelines and development.

Too bad the MWD had to run out of much needed money to rethink its policies regarding personal expenses of the directors, especially at a time when the drought became a major problem and the extra money was needed for the MWD’s programs.

Hopefully, in the near future these directors will remember that we in the Southland will always need water conservation, and they will take care with their personal expenses.
