Shuttle Astronauts Suit Up for a Practice Countdown

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. —
Five astronauts in spacesuits strapped themselves into the shuttle Atlantis on Wednesday for a practice countdown leading to a mission scheduled for July 23. The primary mission of the crew of four men and one woman will be to place a $100-million spacecraft-tracking satellite in orbit.
