Jonas Carney and Shari Rodgers won criterium titles at the U.S. Senior National Cycling Championships at Salt Lake City.
With temperatures in the mid-90s, Carney took the lead from teammate Lance Armstrong in the 80-kilometer men’s race with one turn left before cruising to victory in 1 hour 32 minutes 45 seconds.
Rodgers easily outsprinted second-place finisher Linda Brenneman and third-place Karen Bliss to win in 1:22:29.
