Jeanne Sims has been appointed to the newly created position of vice president of sales for Health Plan of America, an Orange-based health maintenance organization. In her new position, Sims will be responsible for sales activities in Orange, Los Angeles and Ventura counties, as well as the Inland Empire. Previously, she directed a regional sales office at Health Net, and before that was special deputy commissioner of insurance for health and safety policy in the New Jersey state Department of Insurance.
