Ex-Assistant at Drexel Barred: Lisa Jones, a former $100,000-a-year trader’s assistant at Drexel Burnham Lambert in Beverly Hills, was barred from the securities industry by the Securities and Exchange Commission. Jones, 27, was found guilty in 1989 of five counts of perjury and two counts of obstruction of justice for lying to a grand jury investigating illegal trading at Drexel. Although she was first sentenced to 18 months in prison for lying to the grand jury, she was recently resentenced to a 10-month term.
