Media General Inc.: The Richmond, Va., firm said second-quarter profit totaled $5.1 million, down 59% from year-ago period. Revenue fell 6% to $150.1 million. The year-ago results were boosted by a one-time gain of $6.4 million from the sale of its West Coast weekly newspapers and payments from its Mexican newsprint affiliate.
