Construction Workers Find Indian Artifacts

MOUNDSVILLE, W. Va. —
Archeologists on Friday roped off a baseball field construction site where workers have found artifacts left by an ancient Indian tribe.
A construction crew unearthed what seemed to be the remains of two cooking hearths as well as logs and arrowheads buried about 18 inches below the ground’s surface, a city official said.
