Richard B. Edler, 45, was named managing director of the Los Angeles office of Foote, Cone & Belding, replacing Stephen Hayman, 44, who resigned. Edler was previously managing director of the Los Angeles office of McCann-Erickson.

Edler has been replaced at McCann by Rona Pashkin-Boyer, 45, who for the past three years has been general manager of the Paris office of McCann. Pashkin-Boyer has spent her 23-year advertising career at McCann, including 15 years in its Paris office.
