Israeli Court Postpones VOA Radio Transmitter

The Israeli Society for the Protection of Nature asked the Supreme Court last year to block construction of the VOA’s 43-antennae transmitter in the Negev desert until thorough environmental research is carried out.
Environmentalists argued that the billion-dollar transmitter would upset the migration of millions of birds among Asia, Africa and Europe.
