Japanese Official Holds Talks in Moscow

MOSCOW —
Japanese Deputy Foreign Minister Konihiko Saito held talks here Thursday with Soviet President Mikhail S. Gorbachev and delivered a message from Japanese Prime Minister Toshiki Kaifu, Tass news agency said.
In addition to the latest Soviet developments after last week’s abortive coup, the two discussed the “fulfillment of agreements” reached during Gorbachev’s recent visit to Tokyo.
