Outrage Over ‘Hit Piece’ About Hammerman
Your theater critic Jan Herman has committed a tremendous disservice with his latest article on the Grove Shakespeare Festival.
It is more than obvious to any reader that Herman must possess strong personal ties to Thomas F. Bradac and that this allegiance has clearly inhibited Herman’s ability to report objectively and accurately about the Grove’s management decisions.
His irresponsible personal attack on Barbara Hammerman exploits The Times as a vehicle to share the personal vendetta of Herman/Bradac with your readers.
As a lifetime subscriber to The Times, I submit that this “hit piece,” cloaked under the misnomer “commentary,” is an embarrassment to your newspaper.
