Glendora : Council Studying Land Use
The City Council will consider rezoning most of a 9.65-acre site at the northeast corner of Barranca Avenue and Arrow Highway for apartments and condominiums.
The council Tuesday received a recommendation from Planning Director Stan Wong to rezone the area that now contains three lots zoned for single-family housing and six for commercial use. Under Wong’s recommendation, two lots near the intersection would remain commercial.
The proposal, prompted by a plan to build an auto body shop and tire store on part of the property, must be approved by the General Plan Committee and the Planning Commission before returning to the council for action, probably by January.
