Christmas Card Writer: Mementos belonging to the late John Lennon, including a love letter to ex-wife Cynthia and a piece of toast partially eaten by fellow Beatle George Harrison, fetched $94,800 at an auction at Christie’s in London. The most expensive item in the sale last week was a Christmas card sent by Lennon to his first wife in which he says: “Dear Cyn, I love you . . . I love you like guitars.” The card went for $14,900.
