The Fire Department recovered 23 sticks of dynamite floating in Mission Bay near the visitors information center, fire officials said.
Divers cordoned off the area and checked the bay Saturday night and again Sunday morning but found no more of the 14-inch-long explosives, a department dispatcher said.
The first three sticks of dynamite were sighted and picked up by a boater Saturday morning, according to Capt. Al MacDonald of the Fire Department. Twenty more were collected as they floated in the bay Saturday evening, he said.
No blasting caps or other detonating devices were found, officials said.
