Paris Office for Optima: Optima Technology Corp., an Irvine manufacturer of mass storage systems for computers, said it will open a regional facility in Paris later this month to market its products in Europe. As part of an effort to provide better customer support through efficient distribution, the company also opened a Far East regional facility in Singapore last month to market its products in Asia. International markets accounted for 33% of the company’s annual sales of about $22 million last year, with Western Europe and Japan being the largest buyers, said Hamid Assadian, vice president of research and development.
