Spanish Electronics Manufacturer to Acquire Chyron: Pesa Electronica S.A. announced a plan to fund Chyron, an electronic broadcast systems manufacturer, in its pending bankruptcy proceedings. Pesa’s plan calls for a $10-million cash investment in Chyron for which it will get 81% of Chyron’s common shares. The Chyron Group, based in Melville, N. Y., designs, manufactures and markets digital electronic graphics equipment and systems, computer assisted video and special effects equipment.
