Video-Game Marketer Extends Nintendo License

THQ Inc., a Calabasas marketer of video games and toys, said its license agreement with video-game giant Nintendo of America Inc. has been extended so that THQ can sell its products in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The companies’ agreement currently allows THQ to distribute its game cartridges throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico for use with Nintendo game players.

THQ also has an international license with Nintendo of America’s parent, Nintendo Co. Ltd. of Japan, to sell in Europe, Australia and parts of Asia, excluding Japan.
