Fidelity National Financial Net Rises

Fidelity National Financial Inc., the Irvine title insurance underwriter, reported a 32% increase in net income for the third quarter of fiscal 1991, to $2.5 million, or 72 cents per share, from $1.9 million, or 54 cents per share, for the comparable quarter last year. Revenue for the quarter ended July 31 was up 26%, to $59.2 million from $46.9 million.
Net income for the first nine months totaled $3.6 million, or $1.06 per share, compared to $3.6 million, or $1 per share, for the corresponding period of 1990. Revenue rose 12%, to nearly $150 million from $133.9 million.
Per-share amounts for the 1990 third-quarter and nine-month periods were adjusted for a 10% stock dividend declared June 4, 1991.
