SPY VS. SCOUTS: It was big news when James G. Randall of Anaheim Hills picked a battle with the Boy Scouts for expelling his 9-year-old twins (B6). The issue? They refused to say “God” in the Scouts oath. Now October’s Spy magazine has included the legal action in its list of the year’s “Ten Greatest Lawsuits.” It’s part of the magazine’s “annual census of the 100 most annoying, alarming and appalling people, places and things.”. . . . As for the suit, it’s still pending.
