Transamerica Leases Space to State Bar: The State Bar of California has signed a 20-year agreement to lease 150,000 square feet in the Transamerica Center building in downtown Los Angeles. Valued at more than $62 million, the lease is said to be the second-largest in downtown Los Angeles--behind AT&T;, which in March signed a lease for 183,000 feet at 611 W. 6th St. About 350 state bar employees will move into the Transamerica building from their current location near 6th and Beaudry streets.
