Roger Craig returned to uniform as manager of the San Francisco Giants Monday night and said, “I have another year on my contract and I plan to fulfill it.”

Craig, 61, had a blockage in his coronary arteries cleared by angioplasty at Stanford Hospital Friday and passed a treadmill test Monday.

“I haven’t talked to my family, but I want to manage next year and the doctors have told me there is no reason why I shouldn’t,” he said.

“I have a meeting with (owner) Bob Lurie and (club President) Al Rosen tomorrow, and I assume they want me to come back.”

Craig had experienced recurring chest pains before Friday’s procedure but said he was now free of pain and feeling “as strong as ever.”
