Copies of the City Charter, municipal codes and other documents will be going up in price to cover photocopying costs.

The City Council approved the new fees to raise about $3,000 a year. Copies of the City Charter will be raised to $8.50 from $5, and copies of the municipal codes will go up from $60 to $70. The changes take effect in two months.

During the next several months, the council is expected to consider increasing rates for other municipal services, including tree-trimming and building permits.
