Pitzer Receives Grant From Japanese School
Pitzer College has received a $500,000 grant from the Miyazaki Educational Institute of Southern Japan to develop intercultural programs and facilities.
Also, the institute has chosen Pitzer to act as a consultant on the development of a four-year international college in Japan scheduled to open in 1994.
Pitzer will help design the writing curriculum and develop the library and other resources.
