More Health Answers Are a Free Call Away

In response to the “Two Views: For a Fee, Health Answers May Be a Phone Call Away” (“Your Body,” Sept. 3), the Los Angeles Free Clinic also operates a telephone pharmacy information help line: Medication Information Service (MIS). MIS, staffed by a licensed pharmacist and pharmacy student interns, provides information on prescription and over-the-counter medications. The service is available to the general public and is completely free.
