Discrimination Bill

Thank you for your common-sense approach to AB 101, the non-discrimination bill against gays and lesbians in the workplace (Editorial, Sept. 17). The uproar about this bill is evidence that the bill is critically needed. The gay and lesbian community wants to share in its responsibility to promote economic growth and development in the state of California. The bill’s passage can only boost that objective. We are not asking for special rights, only equal rights and opportunity for all.
