Memories of Abuse

Speaking as one of the many child sexual abuse survivors in this country, I cannot believe that you would print such a damaging and one-sided article. I just hope and pray that the many people who suffered abuse at the hands of adults will not disbelieve their memories or feelings because they could just be “fantasy” and/or a product of a “vivid imagination” and discard their chance for recovery. We are each entitled to choose the way in which we live our lives. As children, the choice was stolen from us--we made the only choice possible to survive. I blocked out my abuse for 20 years. Does that lessen the very real impact it has had on my life?
