Perceptronics Revenue, Net Income Up Sharply

Perceptronics Inc., a Woodland Hills maker of tank simulators and other military training equipment, reported a sharp rise in its net income and revenue for its fiscal second quarter.
In the three months ended Sept. 30, Perceptronics earned $240,601, more than double its year-earlier earnings of $104,099. Revenue rose 42% to $6.72 million from $4.73 million.
Perceptronics said the latest quarter’s results include a $94,300 tax credit, as well as increased subcontracting work on tank simulator components and other defense projects.
The company’s six-month profit increased 31% to $331,073 from a $253,638 profit in the same period a year earlier. Revenue totaled $12.3 million, up 13% from $10.9 million.
