Household Toxic Waste Roundup Set for Today

The city of Los Angeles and Unocal Corp. are sponsoring a household hazardous waste roundup at the McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Entrance, 6775 Centinela Ave. in Westchester, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today.
The program allows residents to safely discard up to five gallons or 50 pounds of such items as unused paint, motor oil, pesticides and cleaning solvents.
