TUSTIN : Santa Ana Firm Gets Contract for Park
- Share via
The City Council this week voted unanimously to award a contract to Valley Crest Landscape of Santa Ana for the construction of Laurel Glen Park.
Laurel Glen Park will be a 3-acre neighborhood facility at Heritage Way and Myford Road. It will have a large, open turf area for general play, a playground and landscaping with trees, a shade area, a fitness trail and restrooms.
Park construction is expected to begin in December and be completed in June.
Valley Crest’s bid of $292,486 was far less than the $433,000 that city officials had anticipated. It was the lowest of 13 bids submitted to the city for the park contract.
