Let the kids draw and color to their heart’s content on this combination chalkboard and desk unit. By giving them a place of their own to express creative ideas, perhaps they’ll leave your walls and dining tables free of graffiti and clutter.

Made from pine, this chalkboard measures about 49 inches high, 33 1/2 wide and 18 deep (at the base). It features a tray and three drawers for holding chalk, an eraser or crayons. The chalkboard is held to the frame with a handy magnetic door catch.

Pull down the chalkboard and the reverse side becomes a desk for coloring, drawing and so on. The backboard, which is exposed when you pull down the chalkboard to use as a desk, is lined with cork and becomes a great pinup board for all those school papers that are marked with an A!
