Proposal to Register Guns

Walters’ gun registration idea is a prime example of our elected officials complete ignorance of human nature, history and the street facts of life. Law-abiding citizens do not commit crime, let alone drive-by shootings! Criminals will not register their guns. When crime is not cut by gun registration, the registration lists of law-abiding citizens will be used for gun confiscations. The only thing criminals fear today are armed citizens.

Slaves do not own guns. Why would an honest government not trust its law-abiding citizens with guns except to make it easier in the future to make slaves of us through the pretext of crime control?
