Chemists Group Funds Study on Mountains

Jill Schneiderman, assistant professor of geology at Pomona College, has received a $20,000 grant from the American Chemical Society Petroleum Research Fund for a two-year study on the San Gabriel Mountains.
Schneiderman is conducting the first year of her research as a visiting scholar at UCLA.
