* Mary Wilfrid Yore; Head of Mayfield Senior School

Mary Wilfrid Yore, 83, a sister of the Society of the Holy Child Jesus and for 55 years a teacher and prefect (principal) at Mayfield Senior School in Pasadena. She came to the school’s original campus in 1936, five years after it opened, and had become trustee and prefect by 1950, when the Catholic girls high school moved to Bellefontaine Street. A memorial Mass is scheduled Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Church in Pasadena. On Tuesday in her order’s convent in Rosemont, Pa.
