Dallas Checks Out ‘JFK’: Oliver Stone’s new film “JFK” passed its first critical review when Dallas County commissioners decided not to play critic. The commissioners, who were shown the movie Tuesday, could have asked for a disavowal or an endorsement but decided to stay neutral. The preview was part of an agreement that Stone made in order to use the former Texas School Book Depository for filming. That was where Lee Harvey Oswald was when President Kennedy was shot in 1963.
