Bring on the figgy pudding. Dining while a chorus sings holiday music sounds a trifle decadent, but it hardly challenges the bit-ticket items in the Neiman Marcus Christmas catalogue. In the intimate surroundings of Falco (one of the Gaslamp Quarter’s tony establishments), the San Diego Choral Artists under Ron Gillis will perform at 7 p.m. Tuesday. For a mere $45 per person, Gillis’ choir will intersperse Falco’s five-course gourmet meal with carols and choral music of the season. The Falco menu includes such enticing offerings as quail stuffed with pistachio mousse, roasted half duckling, and venison medallion. (Reservations: 233-5687).
For those on a more modest budget, the San Diego Master Chorale under Frank Almond will perform at the Holiday Inn on the Bay Dec. 16. The hotel restaurant will offer two sittings, 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., for $30 per person. (Reservations: Ticketmaster 278-TIXS).
