THE RAGE OF THE BLACK MIDDLE CLASS

Blacks are voluntarily isolating themselves through social and political groups that base membership on race. How does this encourage me to do my part to assimilate blacks into mainstream society?

Mr. Fulwood’s flawed reasoning is causing him great pain. He is equating racial equality with social homogeneity, and he can’t have it both ways. You can’t simultaneously champion your uniqueness and cry about feeling isolated.
