Bombing of Pearl Harbor

I just finished reading the entire “A Sunday in December.” Extraordinary. Well written and very poignant.

On Dec. 7, 1941, my mother and I were living in Honolulu. My father was aboard the heavy cruiser Minneapolis on maneuvers. He made it back to Pearl Harbor but was lost later in the war in the Admiralty Islands.
