Intel, Unisys Sign Microprocessor Deal: Computer chip maker Intel Corp. and Unisys Corp. signed an agreement under which Unisys will rely increasingly on Intel’s microprocessors. Blue Bell, Pa.-based Unisys, the nation’s third-largest computer maker, said it will standardize its “open system” computers on Intel’s popular X86 line of microprocessors. Open-system computers can be interchanged with other brands and run the same software.
